This role will be based in our Hamilton Square, NJ office. We offer a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office; and 1 day remote where it makes sense to do so.

Responsibilities As our
Director of Account Management
for the Group Captive Division, you will provide the day to day supervision and development of the Account Management team, as well as the stop loss lifecycle deliverables/work flow for all captive program relationships to ensure service standards and strategic goals for the group captive division are met.

We\'ll count on you to:
In collaboration with AVP, manage training and development, establish goals and deliver performance reviews to ensure appropriate resources to achieve customer service standards.
Direct reporting relationship, management and supervision for assigned team including overseeing the stop loss lifecycle deliverables/workflow to ensure service standards are met.
Oversee day-to-day activities and monitor the workflow of the account management team including but not limited to onboarding, policy issuance, overdue premium and commission processes, and establishing and monitoring notification reporting required for reporting.
Together with the Senior Account Management Team, responsible for monitoring the Phia mailbox daily for incoming requests and maintaining necessary reporting/tracking. Tracking all incoming requests and determining if AM team should seek UW approval or if it should be sent to Phia Group. Sending PD assessment request to Phia, processing the invoice for payment and sending out to broker.
Review commission payment summaries monthly for accuracy and take any remediation on a timely basis to ensure that incorrect payments are minimized. Director validates all Override set up.
Back-up support to Account Management team for business continuity.
Assigns accounts to Account Management team.
Effectively liaise with various operating areas including premium accounting, finance, and clinical team on behalf of the team to ensure understanding of claims handling, premium processes, policy provisions/endorsements and understanding internal health risk management services and identify and ensure appropriate training and effective interface between the departments.
Oversee all aspects of stop loss account activity post sale processes (new business and renewal) for teams' book of business including claims payment inquiries, premium submissions, commissions/sub-producer fees and collection of outstanding requirements to ensure timely policy issuance.
Oversee escalated customer/producer concerns which may arise within the team and ensure effective and timely resolution.
Develop and manage trusted relationships with assigned brokers/policyholders/business partners, including effectively interfacing with C-Suite and executive level business relationships at the Program Sponsor, Policyholder, TPA, Broker, Captive and a variety of third parties.
Provide home office support to business development and regional sales teams, when necessary to ensure that customer needs and strategic growth goals of the division are met.
Effectively team with all functional areas within the company including but not limited to claims, finance, compliance, business development, underwriting and policy issuance teams.
Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications What you need to have:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Prior experience in
Stop Loss
insurance
Knowledge of insurance products, technology, operations, data, marketing and compliance preferred
Demonstrated history as an effective leader and motivator managing a team of resources and disparate projects from initiation through delivery
Exceptional communication skills
Have an affinity for testing different strategies, tracking results, and making improvements
Strong sense of accountability, fun and adventure
Exceptional organizational skills, integrity, and great follow-through on tasks
Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products and other programs

Base Salary Range: $110,000 to 125,000
