What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Prepare, manage, and negotiate renewals with plan advisors
Monitor renewal workloads by assigned cases and advisors
Access internal systems for previous renewals, claims history, and reports
Adjust renewal rates and apply Discretionary Spending Account (DSA) as needed
Assist advisors with selling renewals and handle cost negotiations
What is Required (Qualifications):
Excellent knowledge of the renewal process and underwriting
Strong understanding of group benefits (GB) products and services
Proficiency in pricing and alternate plan designs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and French for Quebec-based employees)
Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence others
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage high volumes
Good math skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a small team
Proficiency in analyzing data and problem-solving
Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset, especially for supporting clients in Quebec
