About this role: We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Management to lead strategy and execution for the SmartHome mobile application and customer portal supporting connected residential systems.
This role owns product direction, roadmap, and delivery for the primary homeowner‑facing digital experience. You will manage a team of product professionals and define how connected device data, AI‑driven insights, and intuitive mobile experiences deliver meaningful value to customers.
This is a hands‑on product leadership role operating in a complex IoT environment spanning connected equipment, firmware, cloud platforms, analytics, and consumer‑grade mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities: What You’ll Own:
Multi‑year product strategy and roadmap for the SmartHome mobile app and customer portal
Backlog governance and release execution across mobile and cloud capabilities
Customer activation, engagement, and retention
Translation of device telemetry into intuitive, actionable homeowner experiences
AI‑driven personalization, automation, and predictive insights
Enablement of digital services and monetization opportunities
What You’ll Lead: Product Strategy & Roadmap:
Define a clear product vision grounded in customer needs and connected home trends
Translate strategy into disciplined roadmaps with measurable engagement outcomes
Balance innovation with reliability, usability, and performance
Adoption & Customer Experience:
Define and track KPIs tied to activation, engagement, retention, and feature usage
Improve onboarding, device provisioning, and connectivity flows
Reduce friction and ensure high reliability in everyday use
Use behavioral data and customer feedback to continuously refine the experience
IoT, AI & Intelligent Automation:
Leverage device telemetry and cloud data to power predictive alerts, comfort optimization, and intelligent automation
Embed AI‑driven capabilities that personalize and simplify the home experience
Translate complex system data into simple, customer‑facing insights
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor Product Managers and/or Product Owners
Establish accountability for roadmap execution and KPI delivery
Elevate prioritization rigor and customer‑centric decision‑making within the team
Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree
8 + years of product management experience in connected devices, or consumer mobile apps
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience managing product professionals
Experience building or scaling consumer‑facing connected device applications comparable to smart thermostat or connected home ecosystems
Strong technical fluency in device‑cloud architectures, APIs, mobile platforms, and cloud services
Experience embedding AI‑driven personalization, predictive capabilities, or automation into consumer products
Demonstrated ability to drive measurable adoption, engagement, and retention
Strong customer obsession and experience leading products where usability, reliability, and simplicity are critical
Ability to operate effectively across hardware, firmware, cloud, and mobile engineering teams

Pay Range: The annual salary for this position is $146,750–$205,250. Factors that may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
