Seasonal Position This is a seasonal role. We are not accepting J‑1 Visa students at this time, and we do not sponsor visas. All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of their interview and will be required to provide proof of work authorization upon hire. Please ensure you are available to attend an in‑person interview at the date and time you select; exceptions cannot be made.
What You Get To Do As a Guest Arrival Ambassador you’ll help deliver great guest experiences from the get‑go. You’ll perform the highest standards of service while promoting a positive atmosphere for everyone you come into contact with. This includes selling parking tickets for incoming guests, directing traffic, and working turnstile entry. You may also sell tickets and annual passes through the use of computers and ticket dispensing machines. Get ready to help us show our best right when guests first show up! You will:
Ensure excellent guest service by responding to guest requirements, expectations, and needs
Sell general admission, group tickets and parking lot tolls
Accurately process monetary transactions and manage a register
Admit guests to the park
Handle cash, accept payments, and make change
Answer questions concerning prices, schedules, and general park information
Scan tickets and assist guests with ticketing and product inquiries
Tender parking transactions for guests at Toll Booths
Communicate safety policies to park guests
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by picking up trash and cleaning surrounding areas
Use the Tolls register system by selling and issuing parking receipts to incoming guests
Stop and direct oncoming traffic and direct them into parking spaces
Direct buses, RVs, and guests with disabled placards/license plates to the appropriate parking sections
Landscape the parking lot and planters
Set up cones in the parking lot to direct guests to sections of the parking lot
Other duties as assigned
What It Takes To Succeed
Able to positively interact with guests and co‑workers of all ages, with different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or language, and individuals with special needs.
Be at least 18 years of age
Strong written/verbal communication skills
Able to read, write and speak English
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Have excellent cash handling skills and have knowledge of counting money back
Have basic math skills and be able to calculate simple math without a computer or calculator
Be comfortable working with large crowds in a fast paced environment
Be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Be prepared to work in all areas of Guest Arrival as team members are rotated daily
Be able to stand, walk and/or sit for prolonged periods of time.
Be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs
Be able to work indoors, outdoors, year‑round in most weather conditions
Be able to regularly use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, handle, feel, stoop, crawl, or kneel
Be able to perform repetitive motion
Be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Availability And Hours
This is a seasonal role
During the peak season, must have 5 days of unrestricted availability, to include the weekends
You must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Hours vary based on business need
May be scheduled 0-40 hours per week based on business need
