Description
The Leisure Travel Sales Manager is responsible for developing and growing high-value leisure business through luxury travel advisor networks, curated travel platforms, corporate housing channels, retreat marketplaces, and golf tour operators. This role will focus on positioning the resort and villas as a premier luxury desert destination while expanding distribution channels that drive longer length‑of‑stay, premium ADR, and high‑net‑worth clientele. Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and Revenue Management, this position will proactively cultivate strategic partnerships and generate incremental leisure demand that aligns with the resort’s luxury positioning.
How You’ll Shape The Experience & Future
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals as designated by the Director of Sales & Marketing
Collaborate with Hilton Worldwide Sales team to identify opportunities for both Group and Transient in the segments of: TMC, Wholesale, National Corporate, Incentive, and Government (seasonally)
Lead and manage the RFP process for TMC, Luxury Consortia, Wholesale, and Local corporate accounts for both Villas and Hilton
Solicit and promote the Villas to local accounts to include but not be limited to: Relocation/renovation companies, real estate for temporary housing, interior designers, hospitals, local companies, government organizations based on seasonal pricing needs
Educate and develop hotel relationships with key accounts to increase customer satisfaction and account revenue for Luxury Consortia Travel Advisor, Boutique Luxury Agencies, Individual and Suite clientele
Maximize Sales Tools including True Tour, Zoom Info, LinkedIn, Hilton/Delphi Database, and generate creative custom proposals and presentations
Negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue while satisfying clients' needs
Monitor production of all Accounts, as well as individual stay clientele and evaluate trends within the luxury leisure industry
Show initiative and resourcefulness in developing Individual guest room experience ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
Collaborate with all relevant departments in preparation for Villa clientele arrival and experience
Actively solicits new business through outside client visits, entertaining and appointments
Implement special promotions relating to the Luxury Consortia and wholesale segments
Conduct thorough and creative site visits of the hotel with clients, exhibiting key features and benefits of the property
Proactively engage clients off‑property via office visits, industry events and client entertainment
Attend tradeshows and promotional events which may include travel, to develop networking opportunities through active participation and events
Knowledgeable of all VIP guests and communicates to the team all needs of the guests
Curates a personalized and meaningful experience for the Villa guest
Receive and respond to all customer inquiries within four business hours. Negotiate and capture all profits in accordance with selective selling guidelines
Prepare and send requested proposals and contracts to designate potential group clients
Promote the resort as a hybrid leisure and work destination for extended stays and executive travel
Collaborate with Events and Catering teams to support retreat planning and execution
Monitor emerging luxury travel trends, platforms, and demand segments to identify new business opportunities aligned with the resort’s luxury positioning
Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Revenue Management, Public Relations, and operational teams to ensure consistent luxury positioning and revenue strategy

Professional Experience
3–7 years luxury leisure sales experience in a resort environment
Strong relationships within luxury travel advisor networks
Experience working with villa or residential‑style accommodations
Knowledge of curated travel platforms and experiential travel trends
Experience in golf tourism, retreat sales, or extended‑stay segments
Academic Background
Associate’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered
