Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
to play a vital role in our commercial team. The Sales organization is instrumental in shaping Yerba Madre’s territory and channel expansion strategies, route‑to‑market execution, distributor management, and sales operations across U.S. and international markets.
As a
Regional Sales Manager , you will be responsible for harmonizing and implementing Yerba Madre’s commercial strategy and brand standards throughout your assigned region. You’ll deliver value by driving strategic business planning with distribution partners, leading market execution, supporting Key Accounts programs, and elevating Yerba Madre’s marketing initiatives at retail. How You’ll Help
Lead the annual Business Planning (BP) process
with distribution partners to ensure alignment with Yerba Madre’s priorities and expectations.
Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews
to evaluate performance against BP and sales targets.
Regularly participate in distributor sales meetings , deliver trainings, and conduct market visits to assess in‑store execution and develop action plans for improvement.
Oversee distributor performance , including sales volume, in‑store execution, competitive performance, and achievement of volume targets.
Analyze market and distributor depletion data
to produce insights, identify opportunities, and inform strategic actions in the market.
Manage Point of Sale (POS) materials, coolers, and equipment —forecasting, ordering, tracking, and ensuring proper deployment of assets.
Manage implementation of shelf incentive programs
in independent channels and collaborate with distributors on Key Accounts management.
Serve as liaison between Yerba Madre’s Key Accounts team and distributors , communicating priorities and ensuring implementation of regional and national KA programs.
Execute Yerba Madre’s marketing mix at retail , including in‑store brand standards, merchandising guidelines, POS execution, and pricing compliance.
Manage Yerba Madre’s Field Sales Manager(s) , where applicable.
What You’ll Provide
5+ years of experience in the CPG beverage industry
Current driver’s license with clean driving record; must meet DOT driving standards
Experience in a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) distribution environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and distributor reporting systems
Ability to influence decision‑makers and confidently lead business reviews and presentations
Ability to teach, coach, and train others on brand standards and sales execution
How You’ll Be Successful in This Role Strategic Business Planning You’ll lead the annual planning process with distributor partners to ensure alignment with Yerba Madre’s priorities, setting the foundation for successful execution throughout the year.
Performance Monitoring & Accountability By conducting consistent monthly and quarterly reviews, you’ll ensure progress toward goals, address gaps proactively, and capitalize on opportunities.
In‑Field Leadership Your presence in the market—attending sales meetings, leading trainings, and conducting store visits—will ensure executional excellence and continuous improvement across your region.
Travel Travel is an integral part of this role and is expected to represent approximately
40%
of work‑related activities.
What We Offer The pay range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors; actual pay offered may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Sales commissions and/or variable pay plans are also offered depending on the position (ex: monthly, quarterly, annual bonuses).
