Overall Purpose of the Role The Defence Sales & Channel Partner Executive provides structured sales, commercial, and coordination support across global Land and Maritime markets. In addition to core sales administration and partner support, the role will actively support and drive COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) product sales through efficient quotation management, partner enablement, opportunity tracking, and proactive follow-up. The role ensures responsiveness to an international network of distributors and partners operating across multiple time zones. The position requires flexibility in working patterns to accommodate global partner engagement and will include periodic business travel to support partner reviews, exhibitions, and internal planning activities. Main Responsibilities Driving COTS Sales Performance

Actively support the growth of COTS product sales through efficient enquiry handling, quotation turnaround, and follow-up tracking. Monitor COTS pipeline performance and identify stalled opportunities requiring intervention. Support pricing consistency and margin discipline in collaboration with Commercial and Finance teams. Coordinate promotional activity, product updates, and partner enablement materials to accelerate COTS sales. Provide regular reporting on COTS sales performance and trends. Sales Administration & Process Support

Manage Defence sales administration from enquiry through order handover. Coordinate customer documentation including NDAs, RFQs, PQQ responses, and acknowledgements. Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity tracking, and pipeline reporting. Support bid administration including formatting, version control, and submission coordination. Generate quotations aligned with approved pricing structures and governance requirements.

Channel Partner Support (International Network)

Act as primary administrative interface for international channel partners and distributors. Support partner onboarding, due diligence documentation, and agreement administration. Track partner-led opportunities to ensure visibility and structured follow-up. Coordinate commission tracking and performance reporting. Maintain and distribute partner product documentation, technical updates, and marketing collateral. The role requires flexibility to engage with channel partners across global time zones and respond to time-sensitive commercial requests. Commercial & Compliance Coordination

Assist with export documentation processes in coordination with Contracts & Compliance. Support preparation of commercial documentation for tenders and proposals. Track order intake, forecast updates, and sales metrics. Coordinate internal approval workflows in line with governance processes. Maintain audit-ready documentation for Defence sales activities. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Interface with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate customer information flow. Support scheduling of international partner reviews and customer meetings. Assist in preparing presentation materials, sales reports, and exhibition support packs. Provide logistical coordination for trade shows and partner engagement events. Business Travel

Periodic domestic and international travel will be required to support: Channel partner meetings and reviews. Defence exhibitions and industry events. Internal sales and strategic planning sessions. Improved COTS enquiry-to-order conversion performance. Accurate and up-to-date CRM and pipeline reporting. Timely and compliant preparation of quotations and sales documentation. Structured visibility of partner-led opportunities. Monthly reporting on sales activity, COTS performance, and channel metrics. Well-maintained document control and compliance records. Person Specification Education/Qualifications: 2+ years’ experience in sales administration, commercial coordination, or channel support. Skills/Experience: Experience supporting COTS product sales within engineering, manufacturing, Defence, or regulated industries. High energy, results orientated sales professional Strong organisational discipline and document control capability. High attention to detail with structured working practices. Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Flexibility to support international partners across time zones. Willingness to undertake periodic business travel. Familiarity with export control processes and international shipping documentation. Experience supporting global distributor or channel networks. Understanding of Defence procurement environments. Exposure to bid or proposal administration.
