About the position: The

Regional Sales Manager

(RSM) is an individual contributor responsible for driving the sale of company products and promotional programs within the Pacific Northwest, operating in alignment with established company policies, procedures, and practices. This role requires the consistent use of a disciplined, consultative selling approach—accurately defining opportunities, building trust and credibility, and presenting solutions that meet customer expectations.

The RSM will possess deep knowledge of direct sales, the packaging equipment distribution industry, and relevant equipment applications, along with a solid understanding of commercial business practices. This individual is growth‑minded, motivated to incrementally expand sales within their territory, and committed to delivering strong results. The RSM will work collaboratively in a team environment and adhere to all applicable processes and standards while performing their duties.

What you will do:

Drive business growth

through direct sales and distributor channels by leading training, strategic planning, plan execution, and follow-up activities.

Increase sales

and expand penetration within new and existing accounts by leveraging strong relationships, customer insights, and the company’s full product and capability portfolio.

Build Relationships

– build embedded, trust-based relationships at all levels of the customer organization.

Pipeline Management

- Identify and execute effective account penetration strategies while nurturing long-term, sustainable business relationships.

Strategic Sales -

Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s sales strategy and execute it successfully within the assigned territory.

Sales Metrics -

Demonstrate strong command of regional business metrics and use them to proactively manage and grow the territory.

Product Knowledge -

Support the development and delivery of education and training to internal and external customers.

Project Execution -

draft accurate order specifications to ensure on-time project execution that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of related capital equipment sales experience.

Demonstrated track record of year-over-year sales growth.

Completion of formal sales training programs (e.g., consultative selling methodologies).

Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent relevant experience.

Knowledge of packaging equipment and applications preferred.

Proficiency with PC-based tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Performance based commission (paid out monthly)

Additional Information:

This role will be located remotely in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR

This role will require 50% travel

Ability to travel within assigned territory, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, South Dakota, North Dakota,
