Position Overview The Quick Lane Service Advisor is the first point of contact for customers seeking routine maintenance and light repair services. In this role, you will guide customers through the service process, clearly communicate vehicle needs, and ensure an efficient workflow between customers, technicians, and the parts department.

Key Responsibilities

Greet Quick Lane customers promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.

Listen to customer concerns and review vehicle history to recommend appropriate maintenance and services.

Prepare accurate repair orders and obtain customer authorization for services.

Coordinate with technicians to ensure services are completed efficiently and accurately.

Keep customers informed of service progress, additional findings, and estimated completion times.

Present recommended maintenance and repair services in a clear, honest, and professional manner.

Review completed services with customers, close repair orders, and collect payment when applicable.

Stay informed on dealership service offerings, maintenance schedules, and current promotions.

Work collaboratively with the parts and service teams to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

Support customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and following up after service when needed.

Required Qualifications

Previous experience in a customer service role; automotive service experience preferred.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance services and terminology.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a quick-service automotive environment.

Familiarity with dealership management systemssuch as CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds.

Experience writing/reviewing repair orders or advising customers on vehicle maintenance.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the service area.

Ability to occasionally lift or move items up to 30 lbs.

Comfortable working in an active service environment with varying temperatures.

Ability to operate vehicles (manual transmission a plus!).
