Role Description We are seeking a motivated
Retail & Sales Associate
to join our team in
High Point, North Carolina . This role is designed as a
growth pathway into Business-to-Business (B2B) and account sales
within the company.
New team members begin by working in our showroom, where they develop a deep understanding of our product lines, client needs, and internal operations. This foundation is essential to becoming a trusted advisor to builders, designers, contractors, and other trade partners.
As product knowledge, sales performance, and operational understanding grow, team members have the opportunity to transition into
account management and B2B sales , focusing on building and maintaining relationships with industry professionals and managing larger project-based sales.
After demonstrating consistent performance and strong account development, the role may offer
flexibility for partial remote work .
Key Responsibilities
Assist showroom customers with lighting selections and provide expert product recommendations
Develop a strong understanding of lighting products, technology, and design applications
Learn internal sales processes, quoting systems, and operational workflows
Deliver exceptional customer service from consultation through order completion
Build relationships with homeowners, designers, contractors, and developers
Support existing sales accounts while developing the skills needed to manage larger B2B relationships
Continuously grow product knowledge and industry expertise to support long-term sales development
Qualifications
Retail sales experience preferred, especially in lighting, electrical, or home design
B2B sales experience is a plus
Strong interest in developing a career in
sales and business-to-business relationships
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and retain product knowledge
Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities
Experience in lighting, electrical installation, or interior design is a plus
Comfort with sales systems, quoting tools, or CRM software is advantageous
