Role Description The Junior Designer creates compelling visual content that communicates ICEYE US’s persistent monitoring capabilities to government customers, industry partners, and the public. This role produces motion graphics, traditional marketing materials, and social media assets that translate complex satellite technology into clear, mission-focused narratives. The ideal candidate combines strong design fundamentals with an eagerness to learn about aerospace and national security applications.

Key Responsibilities Motion Graphics & Animation

Design and animate explainer videos showcasing SAR capabilities and mission impact

Create dynamic content for executive presentations and conference talks

Produce social media animations that demonstrate real-world applications

Develop video content for product demonstrations and customer success stories

Traditional Marketing & B2G Design

Design conference materials, booth graphics, and print collateral

Create one-pagers, brochures, and sales materials for government customers

Develop presentation decks and pitch materials

Design white papers, case studies, and technical reports

Build infographics that translate SAR technology into clear mission outcomes

Digital & Social Assets

Create social media content for LinkedIn with consistent branding

Design email templates, web graphics, and digital ads

Develop visual content that explains satellite monitoring to diverse audiences

AI-Augmented Design & Collaboration

Leverage AI tools (Midjourney, RunwayML, DALL-E) to accelerate concept development

Use generative tools for rapid iteration and exploration while maintaining brand consistency

Collaborate with marketing, business development, and technical teams to understand design needs

Maintain organized asset libraries and design systems

Qualifications Required:

2+ years design experience or strong portfolio demonstrating both motion and static work

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

Motion graphics skills with experience in animation and video editing

Experience in print and digital design capabilities for marketing materials

Experience translating technical concepts into accessible visuals

Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required)

Desired:

Experience with AI design tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, RunwayML, Firefly)

3D animation capabilities (Cinema 4D, Blender)

Data visualization experience

B2G or professional services design background

Interest in aerospace, defense, or satellite technology

Social media content creation experience

Advanced training in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field

Pay Range and Compensation Package

The estimated base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000 depending on experience,

Physical Requirements This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and frequent walking. Daily use of a computer, phone, office equipment and other computing and digital devices is required. May be required to stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel may be necessary, so the ability to travel by plane, operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license and/or effectively navigate public transportation is required. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee must be able to read and respond to interoffice communications as well as effectively participate in meetings. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to lift up to 50 lbs., pull, push, carry, handle or feel. The employee is required to carry, handle items, reach with arms and hands, to stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.
