About the Position As a Customer Experience Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering a remarkable experience for our customers. You will guide them through every aspect of their CarMax journey, ensuring our process is simple and seamless. By collaborating closely with other Customer Experience Consultants and teams, you will help to create positive interactions for every buyer and seller. Your Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting customers throughout the entire process, including sales, appraisals, test drives, and financing applications. Oversee and direct the store's workflow, answering queries about transactions, addressing customer issues, and following up on assigned tasks. Support the training and development of new and existing associates. Implement strategies to meet the store's sales goals. Open and close the store as needed and provide management support in the absence of the management team. Conduct thorough assessments of vehicle conditions by gathering and communicating essential information to Buyers. Manage the check-in process for vehicles and ensure daily inventory documentation is accurate. Execute cosmetic inspections to ensure all vehicles meet CarMax Quality Standards. Perform various administrative tasks such as printing reports, maintaining paperwork, and contacting finance companies. Schedule service appointments and verify repair order accuracy for retail service work. Experience in sales and customer service, particularly in retail, is preferred. Valid Driver's License required. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
