
Contract Marketing Copywriter - Consultant

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Partner with the Chief Marketing & Mobilization Officer and marketing team to execute copy assignments for integrated campaigns and initiatives
Contribute to the rebranding process, refining brand voice and messaging across all marketing efforts
Write persuasive copy for various channels including direct mail, email, social media, and website content
Support donor acquisition and retention efforts with response-driven copy aligned with campaign goals
Develop resources and messaging for church partners to enhance engagement with the organization’s mission
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 15 years of professional copywriting experience
Experience in the nonprofit and faith-based sectors
Strong portfolio showcasing excellence in storytelling and persuasive fundraising copy
Proficiency in writing for both print and digital channels
Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple assignments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience supporting media relations initiatives with aligned messaging
Ability to develop training programs and engagement resources for church partners and supporters
Familiarity with project management platforms and content management systems
Demonstrated experience in writing response-driven fundraising copy for various donor segments
