Base Salary $70,000 – 85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Commission Performance‑based commission structure in addition to the base salary.

The Role Sales Representatives drive business growth within a defined geographic territory through proactive prospecting, estimating, and relationship‑based selling. They prepare pricing and quotations, manage pre‑bid documentation, resolve contract scope issues, and oversee order processing, shop drawings, architectural submittals, change orders, and job releases. They engage with bidding networks, industry organizations, and build relationships with glaziers, general contractors, and end‑users, collaborating with architectural and service sales teams to promote specification‑based sales. Ongoing training on products, prospecting techniques, and door/electrical hardware knowledge is integral.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, estimate, provide quotations, and develop a geographic sales area.
Prepare pricing and quotations; create pre‑bid qualifications, contracts, RFIs; handle contract scope issues.
Process orders, shop drawings, architectural submittals, change orders, and job releases.
Canvass bidding networks and join industry organizations.
Establish relationships with glaziers, general contractors, and end‑users to negotiate sales of automatic doors.
Collaborate with architectural and service sales teams to promote specification‑based sales.
Undergo training on factory products, prospecting techniques, and hardware components.
Coordinate with Installation Coordinator to arrange job site readiness checks and provide installer information.
What You Will Need
2–5 years of experience in an outside sales role.
Knowledge of the construction industry.
Proficiency in reading plans, specifications, with working knowledge of storefronts and door hardware.
Established network of relationships in retail, healthcare, and hospitality (recommended).
Working knowledge and proficiency with a CRM system.
Understanding of the door installation process; will train with installation technicians in the field.
Professional presentation skills with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
Organizational skills, ability to multitask, and an intense desire to work in the automatic door business.
Results‑oriented, high‑energy, reliable, disciplined.
Computer minimums: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. High School Diploma required; AA, BA, BS preferred.
Outside B2B sales in same or similar industry preferred; successful commercial construction sales experience preferred.
