
Feed Sales Intern – Beef

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Lead targeted summer sales initiatives to expand market reach and impact
Gather insights through farm visits and market surveys to recommend tailored feed programs
Analyze customer data and support territory development strategies
Plan and execute producer‑facing events to deepen customer relationships
Gain exposure to daily operations, including merchandising, customer service, and feed order management
What is Required (Qualifications):
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field (Sophomore, Junior, or Senior status preferred)
Demonstrated leadership in academic or industry‑related clubs
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in farm environments
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
Must be able to live within commuting range of assigned dealer/co‑op location
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Understanding of animal husbandry, nutrition, and feed management practices
Previous sales or customer‑facing experience
Strong communication, writing, and critical thinking abilities
Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and implement projects independently
Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and learning
