BASIC FUNCTION
As part of the Governor’s five-year $35 billion housing plan to create or preserve 100,000 affordable homes statewide, research and analyze forms of funding available to real estate developers including financing from state and federal agencies. WORK PERFORMED
The work performed will focus on the financing of affordable housing projects in New York State. ESD provides grants to qualified developers to assist with the construction of affordable housing units. Analyze grants available to qualified developers to assist with the construction of affordable housing units. Research other forms of funding is available to the developers, including financing programs from other state or federal agencies, like NYS Housing and Community Renewal or Housing and Urban Development. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education level required: Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree, all majors are welcome. Knowledge Required: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word (PowerPoint a plus); Excellent written and oral communication skills. *Applicants MUST submit a cover letter with resume to be considered. *This position will require in-office presence.
