THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: As a key member of our Product team within the Merchandising Technology portfolio, the Digital Product Owner will be essential in delivering data and analytics capabilities that empower our merchandising and inventory planning processes. You will actively collaborate with the Product Manager to transform strategic goals into a well-prioritized backlog and roadmap, contributing to pivotal outcomes like sales performance, margin enhancement, inventory productivity, and forecast accuracy. Your role includes defining and refining user stories with a strong emphasis on data accuracy, usability, and extensibility. You will closely collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and various teams to ensure clear acceptance criteria, data validation, and data governance standards are upheld, enabling robust analytics and AI functionalities. YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY: Partnering with Product Management to create a coherent product vision for leveraging merchandising data in analytics and AI capabilities. Guiding cross-functional teams through the Agile development lifecycle to deliver scalable data and analytics solutions. Monitoring and communicating the performance of data and analytics KPIs, focusing on data quality, user adoption, and AI-driven insights. Utilizing your insights into stakeholder needs to create detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, while maintaining a prioritized product backlog. Advocating for stakeholder needs by delivering timely, actionable insights through data-driven recommendations. Facilitating release planning with stakeholders for data product launches, analytics improvements, and AI model deployments. Promoting Agile best practices in data and analytics product delivery, while encouraging continuous improvement in data quality and governance. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborating with Tech Leads on development planning for your designated data products. Championing Agile practices and product development methodologies to maximize value delivery. Acting as the voice of the business to advocate for stakeholder requirements. THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field is required. 4+ years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 2 years in a Product Owner role, particularly in an Agile (Scrum) environment. Experience in the retail or merchandising sector (knowledge of retail master data management is a plus). Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint. Experience leading Agile teams, facilitating ceremonies, managing backlogs, and developing release plans. Expertise to support backlog development and remove blockers efficiently. A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and simplify complex concepts. A proven ability to solve problems and guide teams toward effective solutions.
