General Summary and Purpose The RFP Database Content Manager will be responsible for the development, accuracy and quality of content used by the firm’s RFP writers across the Institutional, Retail and Export Channels to respond to RFPs, Requests for Information (RFIs), and consultant Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) in soliciting new business and maintaining current business for Victory Capital via the firm’s RFP database software, Responsive.
This position reports to the Head of Institutional RFP and Data.
You Will
Manage and maintain the RFP database: oversee the organization and updating of the RFP response library, ensuring all content is current and relevant; create a content management calendar to keep content up to date.
Content development: collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and refine responses to RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs.
Quality assurance: ensure all responses are accurate, consistent, and aligned with the company’s messaging and branding; continuously source new responses from RFPs and incorporate any new SME content; conduct peer reviews on in‑progress RFPs as needed.
Database optimization: implement best practices for database management to improve efficiency and accessibility; partner with the database vendor to ensure effective use of the tool; implement new functionality as required.
Training and support: provide training and support to team members on how to use the RFP database tool; mentor team members on content sourcing and overall response knowledge.
Reporting: generate reports on database usage and effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, including expired, stale, or unused content; archive content as needed.
Project work: assist with database upgrades, new features, and beta testing; lead and support additional projects, including responding to RFPs as required.
You Have
1–3 years of experience with RFP database software such as Responsive, RocketDocs, Qvidian, etc.
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Finance, Business, English, or equivalent work experience.
1–3 years of professional experience in investment management and/or marketing communications within a business or RFP writing role.
Target Compensation The target base salary range for this position is $102,000 – $120,000. Salaries are determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills and prior experience, degrees, and certifications. Victory Capital operates a pay‑for‑performance compensation philosophy and total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance. The total compensation package may include annual bonuses and/or commissions and a generous benefits package.
