The Performance Coatings Group's Creative Services team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Creative and Marketing Communications Co-Op to provide day-to-day support to the Project Management team. This role is ideal for a student interested in how creative work is planned, organized, and delivered at scale. The co-op will play a critical role in keeping projects on track, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting cross-functional collaboration across design, content, and video/photo teams within the industrial coatings market.

This position offers hands-on experience in creative operations, project coordination, and stakeholder communication within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Additional Information Ability to work 37.5 hours per week during the summer and 15-20 hours per week during the academic year. Must have availability to work long-term (9-12 months).

This role is not remote/hybrid. This role will report to Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113.

Project Management Support & Coordination

Support the Project Management team with the setup and administration of new projects in the project management system

Maintain accurate project timelines, task lists, and status updates to support on-time delivery

Organize, manage, and archive working project files to ensure consistency and accessibility

Take detailed meeting notes and reconcile action items to support clear follow-up and communication

Assist with workflow tracking and help identify potential project risks or bottlenecks

Coordinate and manage stock photo purchases and usage as needed

Event & Production Support

Provide planning and logistical support for the annual Sales Meeting and other key initiatives

Assist with coordination for local video and photo shoots, including schedules and asset organization

Digital Tools Management

Support the management of digital collaboration tools, including Frame and SharePoint

Support the implementation of AI-enabled tools and capabilities that enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and support continuous improvement across cross‑functional groups.

Update, organize, and maintain metadata, tagging, and structure within content libraries to support efficient asset retrieval

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)

Must have a high school education or GED

Must have at least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, teams and/or Outlook)

Must be proficient with digital collaboration tools

Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or Project Management

Preferred Qualifications Have a minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred

Have experience with project management or workflow tools

Have interest in creative operations, marketing, or agency-style environments

Have familiarity with design, content, or creative review tools
