Our client, a leading industrial supply and gas distribution company, is seeking an Account Manager to join their team. As an Account Manager, you will be part of the Sales department supporting the Account Management and Customer Solutions teams. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship building skills, clear communication, and a self starter mindset, which will align well with this organization.

Job Title: Account Manager

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Pay Range: $80,000-$85,000 base salary plus commission

What’s the Job?

Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customer accounts within an assigned territory

Build strong, long term relationships through regular customer visits

Identify new business opportunities and recommend the right products and services

Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales

Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction

What’s Needed?

2–5 years of sales or account management experience (industrial or manufacturing experience is a plus)

Strong communication and relationship building skills

Ability to work independently and manage a territory

Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
