Overview KVOA-TV in Tucson, Arizona is looking for an energetic Sports Anchor and Multimedia Journalist to lead our local sports content. Responsibilities This full-time position will take someone who can excel in this digital age of journalism. The successful candidate will be a great storyteller who can shoot, write, edit, produce, and anchor, along with being proficient on social platforms. Sports is more than just reading scores and reporting highlights. Your coverage must go beyond the game to tell compelling local stories. If you have a strong on-air presence with a credible delivery and personable style and have the ability to execute engaging live shots, we want you on our team. Lead local sports content on television and digital platforms Shoot, write, edit, produce, and anchor sports segments Proficient on social platforms to engage audiences Tell compelling local stories that go beyond scores and highlights Qualifications A degree in broadcast journalism or a related multimedia field and at least two years of experience as a television sports anchor ENPS knowledge a plus.
