Job Description
We are seeking a
Technical support representative - Printers
to join our team supporting a managed print service environment for a major client. The ideal candidate will have experience in
field service, customer support, and printer/device maintenance
and a proven ability to
resolve technical issues, ensure customer satisfaction, and follow established procedures .
Responsibilities: Maintain customer satisfaction by clarifying needs and ensuring resolution within defined procedures. Handle customer-relations issues promptly and escalate per established processes. Provide software service, post-sales, and service delivery support for local accounts on standard systems. Respond to service, product, technical, and customer-relations inquiries. Perform installations, reinstallations, maintenance, and repairs on customer equipment in a managed print environment. Allocate time effectively and work independently on routine to moderately complex assignments. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Vocational/Diploma/Associate Degree in a technical field with 1-2 years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree with up to 1 year of relevant experience. Knowledge of organizational policies and standard service procedures. Business, technical, or functional knowledge with basic project management capabilities. Effective communication and analytical problem-solving skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, peers, and support partners. Ability to perform under high-pressure situations. Preferred Skills:
Experience with managed print services and onsite field support. Familiarity with standard printer hardware, drivers, and basic networking. Why BCforward?
