Admitting Representative - Part-time

Interviews incoming patients or representatives to verify identity, demographic and financial data and enters that information into the Hospital EMR for Admitting and Ambulatory Surgery.
Performs a variety of administrative duties and data input related to Bed Management, Admissions, Financial Screening, Discharges,
Transfers and Expirations of patients according to the Hospital policies and procedures.
Obtains necessary signatures for all required forms.

Requirements
College degree preferred. HS Diploma Required. Has knowledge of hospital EMR (Epic) system and utilizes assigned work queues and reports within Epic to perform duties. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Excellent Customer service skills. Excellent multi tasking skills • Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
