Metro Title is a part of the CIH Integrated Services family of companies launching a new innovative start-up escrow operation, partnering closely with top luxury real estate brokerages in the local markets. Metro Title is seeking escrow talent to help establish our footprint in the Arkansas and Kentucky real estate markets. The ideal candidate for this role must be comfortable using an all-digital approach utilizing virtual closing programs while still delivering best in class customer service to agents and homebuyers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with pre-closing preparation and/or post-closing tasks. Provide support to Escrow Officers including handling money transfers, preparing documentation, coding of closing figures, closing transactions, advising customers and handling funds. Act as a liaison and maintained communication between customers and all parties involved in the transaction. Review contracts, commitments and orders in preparation for the closing as well as assemble the necessary documents to prepare the file. Submit post-closing documents to lender to obtain funding and disbursement approval Ensure all parties including the buyers, sellers and any agents receive copies of final settlement statements prior to closing, after receiving lenders final approval. Coordinate the collection of information to finalize the sale of the property. Continually improved knowledge, skills and performance based on feedback and self-identified professional developmental needs. Strong communicator, with good written and verbal skills; your ability to read people and understand their personality enables you to deliver both good and bad news in a sensitive way. Job Requirements: A High School diploma or equivalent is required. 2-5 years of Escrow experience is required. MUST have a willingness to learn and help all departments when needed. Real Estate industry experience preferred (title/escrow.) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills. Ability to comprehend and write instructions, correspondence, and memos. Excellent verbal/written skills including good punctuation, spelling and grammar. Must have high level of organization and strong attention to detail. Must have ability to consistently meet deadlines, demonstrate strong follow through, and to follow departmental procedures. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
