Aerotek is seeking crate builders, packers for the 2nd shift with weekly pay. Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a packer for the 2nd shift. This role involves assembling crates and stacking pallets to hold energy products. You will also manage the distribution of tools and materials, utilizing forklifts and cranes, for which certification will be provided. Responsibilities

Assemble crates and stack pallets for energy products. Carry and distribute excess materials, tools, or products as needed. Operate forklifts and cranes with provided certification. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring tapes effectively. Confirm inventory count and ensure accuracy. Complete required paperwork diligently. Perform routine and minor maintenance on equipment. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Assist with crate building and material packaging as required. Perform related duties as directed by the Crating Manager. Ability and knowledge to work with hand tools and wood. Essential Skills

Basic driving skills for operating lifts. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring tapes. Attention to detail. Effective communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work in a non-climate controlled distribution center supporting energy products. Be prepared to stand for the duration of the shift, with the receiving dock experiencing cold winters and hot summers. Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Charlotte, NC. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
