Job Title: Web & Creative Lead
Location-Type: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite weekly in Philadelphia, PA, Wednesday required)
Start Date: 3/30
Duration: 6-month contract (potential extension or conversion) - 20-25/hrs a week
Compensation Range: $50-65/hr on W2 ONLY

Job Description:
Lead digital, web, and creative strategy while guiding a multidisciplinary communications team to produce impactful digital storytelling and cohesive web experiences.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary creative and digital communications team.
  • Provide strategic direction for digital storytelling, video production, and visual design initiatives.
  • Guide web design standards and content strategy across major digital platforms.
  • Oversee production and integration of video, photography, and design across digital channels.
  • Collaborate with social media, editorial, and communications teams on campaigns and content strategy.
  • Provide consulting support to internal stakeholders on web and creative projects.
  • Use analytics and audience insights to optimize digital and creative initiatives.
  • Help introduce new creative approaches, tools, and emerging technologies (including AI).
Requirements:
  • Must-Haves:
    • Experience leading creative, digital, or web teams in complex organizations.
    • Strong background in creative production including video, visual storytelling, and digital content.
    • Strategic leadership experience driving digital and creative initiatives.
    • Experience managing web platforms and digital ecosystems.
    • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Drupal or WordPress.
    • Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills.
    • Understanding of brand governance and reputation-driven communications.
  • Nice-to-Haves:
    • Experience in higher education, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations.
    • Experience implementing accessibility standards and digital compliance best practices.
    • Familiarity with digital asset management systems.
    • Exposure to AI or emerging technologies used in digital content creation.
