Technical Sales Representative (Commercial Laundry)
WSI seeks a highly self‑motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our thriving team. The TSR is responsible for providing technical solutions for plant operations, identifying and executing sales opportunities through keen data analysis, and developing relationships across management levels while managing 6‑10 accounts within an assigned territory. This is a fully remote position working from home with field visits to client sites.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell the full product line to existing customers
Develop prospect lists and establish relationships with new customers
Maintain appropriate sales coverage in assigned territory
Deliver service and maintenance for 6-10 accounts
Install and program chemical dosing equipment interfacing with customer washing systems
Lead planning and execution of new installations or conversionsMaintain company‑provided equipment
Operate within assigned expense budget
Eliminate rush orders and submit reports timely
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Mechanical, or related field with 1-2 years' industry experience (or equivalent education/experience combination)
Military background preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and technical/mechanical skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, internet, and order processing software
Ability to work quickly and accurately in fast‑paced environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Physical Demands
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear

At least 50% of time will be traveling to and from customers/plants
