is seeking a results-driven

Territory Sales Manager

with 3–5 years of outside sales experience in

capital equipment

. This role is responsible for developing and managing a multi-state regional territory, generating leads, closing deals, and driving sustained revenue growth. The ideal candidate is proactive, strategic, and highly skilled in client engagement, with a proven ability to expand market share and support ACA’s continued growth into new and emerging markets. This position requires the ability to travel

50–75%

of the time across a territory spanning four surrounding states.

Desired Location: Midwest (IL, IN, MI, OH, KY) or Northeast (NY, PA, NJ, CT)

Key Responsibilities:

Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and field visits

Develop and manage a qualified sales pipeline

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals

Build strong relationships with clients and identify tailored technical solutions

Collaborate with Applications and internal teams to meet client needs

Use CRM tools to track leads, manage opportunities, and forecast sales

Conduct competitive research and identify opportunities to gain market share

Support quoting, promotional materials, and trade show strategy

Maintain up-to-date customer and sales activity records in CRM

Qualifications:

Proven success in B2B sales, preferably in technical or industrial markets

Experience with

consultative selling

and solution-based sales approaches

Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills

Experience selling CAPEX (Capital Equipment)

Comfortable with frequent travel within assigned territory

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field (required)

3–5 years of successful B2B, technical, or field sales experience

Strong understanding of technical products and willingness to learn quickly

Willingness to travel overnight as needed; valid driver’s license and clean driving record

U.S. citizenship required

Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

Self-motivated, fast learner with a strong work ethic

Proven ability to close sales and build lasting client relationships

Comfortable working independently or as part of a team

Capable of engaging technical and financial stakeholders at all levels

Effective territory and account management skills

High attention to detail

Compensation/Commission/Benefits: Base Salary: 80-90k + Commission (uncapped)
