
International Development Market Director-Orangetheory

As the International Development Market Director for Orangetheory Fitness, you will play a critical role in managing business-driving efforts within specific markets, regions, or with a group of Orangetheory Master Franchisees. You will focus on managing and executing initiatives designed to drive business outcomes, with a strong emphasis on ensuring the execution of the Master Franchise Agreement. Success in this role is measured by franchise sales, club openings, studio metrics, AUVs/SSS, and Master satisfaction, contributing directly to the EBITDA margins of your markets.**Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions)**In this role, you will have a measurable impact at a global scale on the health of consumers and the success of entrepreneurial franchisees as part of the largest global studio fitness brand.**Key Responsibilities:*** Execute strategies to drive white space growth within assigned region(s), with primary metrics including franchise sales and club openings, and secondary metrics including Studio performance indicators like Member Count, AUV performance, and Master satisfaction.* Partner with Master franchisees to develop and execute annual business plans that meet financial goals, drive profitability, and ensure sustainable growth.* Advise and influence Master franchisees on critical aspects of operations and support teams, acting as a liaison with global brand operation teams for subject matter expertise in technology, operations, marketing, and product.* Support the Business Unit VP in preparing and delivering monthly and quarterly business reviews, ensuring documentation is aligned and prepared with all stakeholders.* Provide ongoing guidance to franchise partners throughout development, including site selection, construction, training, and launch.* Collaborate with Global OTF Brand team to scale programs, best practices, and compliance initiatives to drive studio performance improvement projects within key regions.* Support mid- and long-term strategic planning, market research, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies to inform strategic decisions on franchise adaptation and growth.* Monitor and evaluate franchise location performance, providing strategic guidance to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.* Identify growth opportunities and barriers within the region in partnership with Master franchisees.* Establish scalable infrastructure for Purpose Brands in the market in collaboration with OTF Operations, Brand, and Product Teams.* Collaborate with Purpose Brands Brand & Product Teams to evaluate product performance and recommend improvements to meet market and Master demands.* Maintain awareness of market trends, demographics, and cultural dynamics.* Work closely across International Purpose Brands business units to maximize growth and performance globally.**Strengths*** Analytical thinker with a results-oriented mindset and passion for business growth.* Strong strategic and tactical communication, planning, and execution skills with a global perspective.* Ability to influence without authority to drive accountability among Masters and stakeholders.* Excellent communication skills, ensuring consistent alignment and performance checks with all partners.* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.* Empathetic understanding of others’ concerns and emotions, applied through clear communication.* Commitment to meeting the needs of both external and internal customers.* Skilled at using data and insights to inform recommendations and strategic decisions.* Passion for fitness and wellness.**Background*** Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing large-scale service operations, especially unit-level management.* Franchise industry experience, particularly with an international focus, is strongly preferred.* Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity, with experience working across diverse international teams.* Proven experience shaping strategic direction, managing budgets, and executing business growth plans in international markets.* Financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.* In-depth understanding of the health, wellness, and fitness industry, including major players and stakeholders.* Studio/boutique experience on an international scale.* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Economics, or a related field (preferred).**Additional Details:*** Frequent international travel required, including solo trips, weekend, and U.S. holiday travel.* Must maintain a valid passport and obtain necessary visas for international travel.* Work outside standard business hours may be required, including events and hosting clients.We offer a competitive salary along with exceptional benefits such as:* Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage* Hybrid Work Environment* Life and Disability Insurance* Unlimited Time off + Paid Holidays* Fridays off between Memorial Day and Labor Day* 401(K) Savings Plan Matching at 4%* 10 Coaching and Therapy sessions* Mental Health Benefits* Brand Discounts & Reimbursements* In-house workout facilities* Professional Development Opportunities* Team Building, Employee Engagement Activities & so much more**WORK SCHEDULE**
