Marketing Specialist
who can
hit the ground running
to produce high‑quality video content and compelling written assets that grow our brand presence—especially on YouTube. The ideal contractor is a
full‑stack content creator : skilled in shooting and editing, fluent in short‑ and long‑form formats, and confident writing scripts and marketing copy. Key Responsibilities
Video Production
Plan, shoot, and edit engaging video content, including: Affordable housing project spotlights Resident and client testimonials Community event recap reels Program overviews and impact stories Work on‑site in community settings to capture authentic, story‑driven footage Manage video projects from concept to final delivery with minimal oversight Optimize video content for platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social media Support the development and growth of a mission‑focused YouTube channel Content Writing
Write scripts for video content that clearly communicate impact and mission Develop internal and external written materials, including: Case studies on housing and community programs Website and marketing copy Grant‑support narratives and program summaries Blog posts and newsletters Ensure all content reflects the organization’s voice, values, and community focus Translate complex housing and development topics into clear, accessible language Qualifications
Proven experience in video production (shooting, editing, storytelling) Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines Comfortable working in diverse community environments and engaging with residents and stakeholders Experience creating content for YouTube or other digital platforms is a plus Passion for housing, community development, or social impact work Requirements
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Film/Media Production, Public Relations, Urban Studies, or a related field preferred 3+ years of Marketing experience (digital and traditional) in a corporate environment Additional certifications or coursework in video production, digital media, or content marketing are a plus Equal Opportunity Statement
