to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.
Responsibilities Your Role:
As a Senior Brand Manager of Innovation , you will lead cross-functional teams to develop and commercialize new products to address evolving consumer needs, build a future pipeline of growth initiatives, and meet company sustainability goals. You will work in a collaborative environment and will have the opportunity to bring your experience and creativity to drive strong business growth. This position reports to the Sr Director of Marketing.

Lead cross-functional team projects to develop and commercialize Brand and Private Label new products, line extensions, and product/packaging improvements.
Develop strong working relationships with RD&E counterparts to facilitate product initiatives.
Lead consumer research to identify new product opportunities and to guide new product strategic definition.
Develop and interpret detailed P&L’s to drive new product profitable growth.
Lead the development of the business case for product commercialization opportunities inclusive of launch strategy, pricing, competitive context, and distribution.
Collaborate with Customer Marketing and Category Management to develop sales materials to aid in the launch of new items.
Analyze business trends and provide input on gaps and opportunities for the brand and portfolio.
Prepare and present monthly stage gate project updates of key innovation projects to the Hefty Business Unit.

Qualifications We need you to have:
BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
8+ years of related professional and progressive Marketing experience in the CPG industry.
3-5 years’ experience with market research and new product development.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.
Experience with consumer research methodologies and a New Product Stage Gate Process is desirable.
Excellent business acumen with experience managing budgets/P&L.
Proficiency with retailer scan data analysis programs such as Nielsen or IRI.
Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office.
Ability for some travel (10-15%).
Icing on the cake:
MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.

Posted Salary Range USD $150,000.00 - USD $165,000.00 /A
Bonus Eligibility Role is eligible for 18% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
