A Brief Overview The Marketing Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing comprehensive marketing strategies that support the Bank's commercial business lines, including digital platforms and acquisition objectives. This role oversees tactical execution, budget management, promotional efforts, communication development, website updates, and reporting to strengthen business performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, audit requirements, and brand guidelines.

The position requires B2B marketing experience, strong project management, cross‑functional collaboration, analytical capabilities, digital marketing knowledge, and the ability to deliver high‑quality execution in a fast‑paced environment.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Develops 360 marketing communications plans and budgets in line with the business units' products and services goals and efforts under the supervision of the direct supervisor.

Develop and manage annual marketing plans to support commercial products and services, including Business Digital Banking (platform and app).

Execute integrated marketing communications across educational and business events, digital media, traditional media, content channels, bank-owned properties, and paid/non-paid platforms.

Manage communication development for Relationship Officers, supporting sales tactics, onboarding programs (e.g., DBA accounts), special initiatives, and product launches.

Executes marketing communications efforts in a timely and efficient manner and oversees the production of communication materials and advertising pieces.

Responsibility includes the development, monitoring, and optimization of the Digital Marketing strategy across all digital channels, including, but not limited to, email marketing, social media, display advertising campaigns, corporate website, and internal channels.

Cross‑functional Collaboration & Special Projects

Provide ongoing status updates, performance analysis, and recommendations to business units and marketing leadership.

Support special projects and corporate communications initiatives as assigned.

Responsible for monitoring performance results, including both business outcomes and marketing KPIs to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Maintains an open and constructive dialogue and working relationship with the business units, direct supervisor, team members, advertising agencies, and similar partners and suppliers.

Reviews and analysis of the execution of marketing communications efforts every quarter. Keeps metrics for all marketing campaigns, efforts, activities, programs, and events, and analyzes them to inform recommendations for future programs. Metrics include, but are not limited to: ROI, market shares, media SOV & SOI. Keep updated with market research, competitors initiatives and economic outlook that impact the commercial lines of business.

Maintains a budget for the respective brand, businesses, products, and services, and provides the business with the analysis and information required on a timely and regular basis as established.

Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal acquisition costs, ROI improvements, and accurate planning.

Lead accruals, invoice processing, expense validation, and monthly checkbook reporting.

Generate monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc reports on budget, leads, campaign performance, and other KPIs.

Manage the Marketing Effectiveness and Corporate Scorecard reporting for Lines of Business.

Provide all strategies, goals, and objectives to the events team, serving as liaison with LOB's.

Processes routine paperwork, including compliance, legal, accounting, and payables, under the direct instruction of the immediate supervisor.

Build marketing communication knowledge through on‑the‑job training and seminars.

Keep updated with market research, competitors' initiatives, and economic outlook that impact the commercial lines of business.

Develops and completes special projects and tasks as requested by the direct supervisor or management.

Competencies

Highly motivated self‑starter who can multi‑task and respond to changing work activities with very short deadlines. Passionate about understanding consumers and developing marketing and communications programs.

High proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Demonstration of strong project management and organization skills.

Excellent English and Spanish written and oral communications skills are a must.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team – especially in complex and ambiguous work environments.

Detail‑oriented and able to maintain a high level of ownership and accuracy in all work activities.

Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships within the marketing department and business units.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Business Administration.

The incumbent must have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in planning, coordination, and organization of marketing communication materials, communications and advertising; ability to handle basic accounting matters. Or the equivalent combination of Education and Experience needed to be able to perform the functions of this job.
