Our client is seeking a Real Estate Transaction Associate with 3–6 years of experience to join their law firm, supporting their growing real estate finance team.
This role offers the opportunity to work with nationally recognized real estate professionals on
complex, large-scale transactions across the country . With extensive experience across various real estate asset classes and all phases of development, we assist clients with complex matters including mixed-use developments, debt and equity financing, joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions, hospitality projects, brownfield developments, construction, affordable housing, complex leasing, public/private transactions, and loan restructurings. The Real Estate Transactions & Finance team collaborates across offices and practices, working on transactions across multiple sectors such as office, multifamily, hospitality, entertainment, retail, industrial, mixed-use, cannabis/CBD, and energy/alternative energy projects. About the Role
Our client is seeking candidates with broad real estate transactional experience, including acquisitions, dispositions, retail and ground leasing, financing, construction, development, and joint ventures. The role requires experience negotiating and drafting mortgage loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, managing closing checklists, and overseeing closing documentation. Experience with commercial leases, joint ventures, construction agreements, CC&Rs, REAs, Declarations, and Easement Agreements is a plus. Responsibilities
3–6 years of real estate transactional experience Experience with mortgage debt financing transactions (preferably borrower-side) and purchase/sale transactions Leasing and joint venture experience preferred Active bar membership in good standing in New York OR New Jersey
