The Recovery Audit Contractor Specialist is responsible for performing daily appeal audit follow‑up, monitoring Recovery Audit Contractor audit trends and issues and updating financial transactions. In this role you will: Review medical records and other documentation for accuracy and professional appearance and send Recovery Audit Contractor appeal package accordingly. Monitor Recovery Audit Contractor takebacks and appeal status by running appropriate reports and contacting insurance companies to resolve claims denied for clinical reasons Identify problem claims and trends and escalates as appropriate Update the RRT and any other systems (Artiva, SSD Web Tools) to identify actions taken on the account Work with Recovery Audit Contractor Agencies to secure payment on account balances outstanding Qualifications: Minimum one year of experience in related area required. Parallon provides full-service revenue cycle management, or total patient account resolution, for HCA Healthcare. Our services include scheduling, registration, insurance verification, hospital billing, revenue integrity, collections, payment compliance, credentialing, health information management, customer service, payroll and physician billing.
