
Commercial Reserving Actuarial Analyst - Remote

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Prepare and coordinate analyses of monthly and quarterly loss reserves
Perform complex analysis of data with minimal oversight
Research and develop new methodologies for Commercial insurance loss reserving
Evaluate analytical work done by others and provide recommendations
Provide training to Actuarial Analysts
What is Required (Qualifications):
BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related area
At least 5 years of experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on Commercial or Personal lines insurance (Commercial Auto preferred)
Completion of 5 or more actuarial exams
Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages, such as SQL, R, Python, etc.
Strong analytical and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with actuarial analysis on Commercial Auto lines insurance
Effective computer software programming skills
Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Basic actuarial industry knowledge
