Senior Customer Insights Analyst

Position Purpose: Join our innovative Customer Insights team, where your skilled expertise in customer analytics will drive impactful insights for senior leadership. As a Senior Customer Insights Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping strategic decisions across Marketing, Operations, and Merchandising. Seize the opportunity to perform in-depth quantitative analyses that reveal shopper behaviors across various channels. Your ability to transform complex customer data into meaningful insights will empower you to deliver actionable business recommendations to key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Interpret statistical and analytical results succinctly, providing clear directives to inspire significant business enhancements.

Analyze customer shopping behaviors linked to key business events such as promotions, weather shifts, and operational changes.

Develop and validate segmentation strategies, compute customer value metrics, and manage ad-hoc data extraction and analysis requests.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide customer-centered analytical support using both quantitative and qualitative measures.

Examine transactional data to pinpoint vital purchase triggers and indicators that inform predictive business strategies.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports: This position reports to the Manager of Consumer Insights.

This role does not supervise any direct reports.

Travel Requirements: Involves overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent seated, with opportunities to move around; occasional lifting of light items may be necessary.

Working Conditions: The work environment is typically comfortable indoors, with infrequent unpleasant conditions.

No travel is required for this role.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a retail organization is highly preferred.

Background in management consulting or investment banking is advantageous.

Experience in a corporate strategic planning group is a plus.

Proficiency in statistical programming software, particularly SAS, is desirable.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex data through various quantitative techniques.

Strong capability in creating impactful presentations that summarize key approaches and results for executive audiences.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential for conveying complex customer behavior insights to diverse stakeholders.

Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is mandatory.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
