About the Role SelectQuote is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Marketing Analytics Specialist to turn data into actionable insights for its Medicare, Senior Healthcare, and insurance lines of businesses.
This role will be responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing data across marketing and consumer lifecycle channels to generate actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions and optimize marketing performance. The position will leverage data from campaigns, customer journeys, and operational touchpoints to identify growth opportunities, improve conversion and retention, and enhance overall marketing effectiveness. This role requires a strong foundation in marketing analytics, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to translate complex data into clear recommendations for stakeholders and drive data-informed strategy and execution.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze, and interpret operational and compliant data from various sources such as call auditing tools, carrier direct data, and internal agent databases to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement
Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to monitor the performance of individual agents and carriers, providing actionable recommendations to optimize results and achieve KPIs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to gather data and requirements for operational analytics projects
Use advanced statistical techniques, such as predictive modeling and segmentation, to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
SQL Utilization via Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio that includes but is not limited to: data aggregation, query writing to pull required analysis, and output verification
Evaluate the ROI of Operational compliance adjustments and tactics, providing insights to inform budget allocation and strategic planning
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in compliance and quality assurance analytics to ensure our strategies remain competitive and data-driven
Provide training and guidance to team members on data analysis, reporting tools, and operational analytics best practices as applicable
Able to make considerable headway on given requests, and as a percentage average, they can complete 80% of work without intervention post-training
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Functional analytical skills (projecting, costing, budgeting, etc.).
High level of self-motivation; ability to accomplish goals independently.
Articulate and well-spoken; strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required.
Fast learner who is career minded and seeks additional responsibility as earned
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects, multiple channels and segments simultaneously in a cross-functional team
Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools, such as Quicksight, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing or Business Administration required; Master’s degree preferred.
2-4 years of experience in operational analytics, data analysis, or a related role.
2-4 years of experience using Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
Strong proficiency in SQL with at least 1 year of experience, or a minimum of 1 year of experience in any programming language.
Physical Requirements:
Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
