Position Overview MARRAM Cabinetry is seeking an energetic, motivated, and personable Business Development Representative to help introduce our brand to trade professionals throughout Orange County.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, is comfortable starting conversations, and wants to grow in a sales‑ and relationship‑driven environment. You will help expand awareness of the MARRAM brand by conducting in‑person outreach, building initial connections, and encouraging qualified prospects to visit our showroom and begin conversations with our team.
This opportunity is especially well suited for someone early in their sales career who is eager to learn, highly proactive, and motivated by both base compensation and performance‑based incentives.
Primary Objective Identify and engage high‑potential trade professionals who are a strong fit for the MARRAM brand. Build relationships through consistent in‑person outreach and guide prospects toward meaningful next steps, including showroom visits, meetings with leadership, and project quoting.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in‑person outreach to builders, designers, architects, contractors, and relevant job sites throughout Orange County
Introduce MARRAM Cabinetry and our trade‑focused showroom experience to prospective clients
Help identify firms and professionals that may be a strong fit for the brand
Build initial relationships and create interest in visiting the showroom or meeting with our team
Distribute brochures and approved marketing materials as directed
Track outreach activity and follow‑up efforts in an organized and consistent manner
Represent the brand with enthusiasm, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills
Compensation
Base earnings plus meeting incentives
Bonuses for qualified showroom visits
Additional incentives for accounts that convert to active clients
Long‑term earnings through account development
Territory and Work Conditions
This is a field‑based role focused on outreach throughout Orange County, California, near our Irvine showroom.
The person in this role is responsible for their own transportation and travel expenses within the territory. Reliable personal transportation is required.
Required Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable with in‑person outreach, prospecting, and cold introductions
Self‑motivated, dependable, and goal‑oriented
Positive attitude and professional demeanorCA Driver’s License
Interest in design, architecture, construction, or luxury home products
Willingness to learn and grow in a sales‑focused role
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, outreach, events, retail, or another client‑facing role
Familiarity with design, interiors, construction, or trade professionals is a plus
