$110k - $130k + Bonus

The Opportunity Overview:
Venus et Fleur is seeking a Social Media and Community Manager to elevate our social presence as we continue to grow. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will own organic social across all platforms: setting strategy, creating content and staying ahead of trends to ensure Venus et Fleur shows up in ways that are fresh, premium and unmistakably aligned to our brand values.
The Role:
This is a role for someone who lives on social platforms - not just executing a content calendar but proactively identifying and testing what’s next, while analyzing performance to inform what we do more of. You have an understanding of what drives success on each platform and / or how to test different social tactics. You’ll manage the full picture across platforms while also building and nurturing our community to ensure Venus et Fleur’s exceptional customer experience extends to all touchpoints.
Desired Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of organic social experience at a luxury, lifestyle or consumer brand. You are equally comfortable writing a caption, pitching a new content series, and pulling analytics to understand what’s resonating. You have strong taste and a genuine passion for the luxury space.
What You Will Lead
Develop and own organic social strategy across all platforms - including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Threads - ensuring a cohesive yet platform-native approach
Create, shoot, and edit content end-to-end, producing platform-ready assets that reflect the brand’s aesthetic, values and voice
Lead content ideation - concepting ideas that stay ahead of trends while remaining on brand
Build and manage the content calendar, planning, scheduling and posting across all channels
Identify platform-specific opportunities to test new formats and creative approaches
Scale brand awareness through existing and new social media channels, with a strong point of view on where the brand could differentiate and grow
Respond to influencer inquiries through owned social channels and partner with the influencer team to leverage creator content as one tool in the organic social toolkit
Actively listen to and monitor the social landscape to identify emerging trends and ways to keep our content fresh and relevant
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional partners to create and execute social plans that support both evergreen campaigns and product launches
Community Management
Own community management across all platforms, responding in a way that extends Venus et Fleur’s excellent customer experience to every digital touchpoint
Performance Optimization and Insights
Use analytical tools (e.g. Dash Social, Later) to monitor social performance and create action plans
Establish KPIs and deliver regular reporting on social performance (e.g. audience, EMV, engagement)
Who You Are
3-5 years of experience in social media strategy and content creation
A strong storyteller - highly creative and strategic - able to balance the analysis & implementation of opportunities while executing elevated creative for the brand
Content creation abilities and video editing skills to produce social content for platforms including but not limited to: IG stories, IG Reels, TikToks, Pins etc.
Deep familiarity across social platforms. You understand what works and why.
Experience in digital analytics and social media measuring tools
Committed to customer service with a passion for building community
Understanding of luxury brands, and what it means to represent the brand values across customer touchpoints
Proficiency in Google Suite and social editing tools
Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience in luxury goods, retail or hospitality preferred
