P/T Marketing Assistant & Social Media Content Coordinator

Responsibilities

Create engaging social media content, including photography and videography, to enhance brand presence and drive audience engagement.

Develop, plan, and execute social media content strategies across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others.

Produce high‑quality photography and videography showcasing parks and recreation programs, services, events, and community culture.

Edit photos and videos for social media, ensuring alignment with brand identity and current trends.

Manage and schedule posts using social media management tools.

Monitor engagement for the Marketing Manager; respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.

Stay updated on social media trends, emerging platforms, and content strategies to keep the brand innovative and competitive.

Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall brand strategy and campaigns.

Assist in influencer outreach and partnership development.

Track and report on social media analytics and performance metrics to refine content strategies.

Qualifications

High School graduate, preferably enrolled in minimum university level studies.

Proven experience in social media content creation, photography, and videography.

Proficiency in content editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar software.

Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

Experience in marketing, digital media, or a related field is a plus.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the minimum level of qualifications stated above.

No licenses or certifications required.

Position is part‑time (10–29 hours per week) with flexibility based on content needs. Remote and on‑site work as required for content creation.
