About Us The Group CRE is a boutique brokerage in Los Angeles that exclusively sells apartment buildings. We also produce No Vacancy with Taylor Avakian, a podcast featuring some of the most prominent multifamily owners and operators in the city. Our brand is growing fast and we need the right person to help us capture and distribute everything we’re building.
The Role This is not a typical videographer job. You’re not sitting at a desk editing all day. You’re embedded with our founder daily, filming, editing, and creating content in real time. Podcast recordings, apartment building tours, networking events, meetings, deal closings. All of it is content and your job is to see it, capture it, and turn it around fast.
You’ll own the full content pipeline from filming to final post across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
What You’ll Do
Follow our founder throughout the day and identify content opportunities without being told what to film
Film podcast episodes and produce the full-length video edits
Pull 5-10 short-form clips from each podcast recording
Create daily short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X
Shoot and edit property walkthrough videos
Build and maintain a content calendar across all platforms
Create thumbnails, caption overlays, and basic motion graphics
Track what’s performing and adjust the content strategy based on real data
What We’re Looking For
You shoot well on both phone and camera
You edit fast. Same-day or next-day turnaround on short-form clips is the standard, not the exception
You understand hooks, pacing, and what makes someone stop scrolling
You know that content for LinkedIn looks different than content for TikTok and you create accordingly
You have strong instincts for storytelling and moments, not just clean edits
You’re self-directed. You don’t need a shot list to know what to capture
You’re someone people enjoy being around. You’ll be in the room for a lot of high-level conversations and you need to carry yourself well
Bonus Points
You create your own content (YouTube channel, Instagram, TikTok, whatever)
Experience with motion graphics or After Effects
Familiarity with real estate, business, or interview-style content
Podcast production experience (audio mixing, multi-cam editing)
