Flerish is a fast-growing hydration brand redefining modern drinking occasions with better-for-you, elevated alternatives designed for social environments. We partner with restaurants, bars, hotels, country clubs, and specialty retailers to bring a premium non‑alcoholic and lifestyle beverage experience to consumers who want choice without compromise.
We are expanding our on‑premise and retail footprint and are seeking a highly motivated Field Sales Representative to build relationships, open new accounts, and grow velocity within existing placements.
Role Overview The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and executing a territory growth plan to expand Flerish distribution and drive sell‑through across on‑premise and retail channels; particularly Kroger placements. This role combines prospecting, relationship building, merchandising, training, and in‑market activation.
This is an entrepreneurial role ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, understands hospitality operators, and thrives in a high‑ownership startup environment.
Key Responsibilities Account Acquisition & Distribution Growth
Identify and prospect new accounts across restaurants, bars, hotels, country clubs, cafes, and specialty retail
Conduct in‑person sales meetings and product presentations
Secure new placements and expand menu/program integration
Build pipeline and manage territory coverage plan
Negotiate placement terms and introductory orders
Account Management & Relationship Building
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
Develop relationships with beverage directors, buyers, managers, and owners
Conduct regular account visits to maintain strong partnerships
Gather feedback and communicate insights to internal team
Sell‑Through & Merchandising
Ensure product visibility, menu placement, and proper merchandising
Support staff education and training on product positioning and talking points
Execute sampling activations and tasting events
Monitor inventory levels and prevent out‑of‑stocks
Drive reorders and increase velocity within accounts
Market Activation & Brand Building
Coordinate tastings, promotions, and in‑market events
Support distributor ride‑alongs where applicable
Represent Flerish at trade shows and industry events
Act as a brand ambassador in the local community
Reporting & Territory Management
Track activity, pipeline, and account performance in CRM
Provide weekly field reports and performance updates
Analyze sales trends and identify growth opportunities
Maintain efficient routing and time management across territory
Qualifications
2+ years field sales experience is ideal
Existing relationships within local hospitality or retail community strongly preferred
Proven ability to open new accounts and grow existing business
Comfortable conducting in‑person sales presentations and tastings
Strong organizational and follow‑up skills
Self‑starter with high ownership mindset
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift and carry product cases (up to 40 lbs)
What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months)
Consistently opening new qualified accounts each month
Strong partnership development with local wholesaler(s) teams
Building strong operator relationships and becoming a trusted partner
Achieving territory distribution and revenue targets
Creating visible brand presence within local market
