Corporate Paralegal The Paralegal plays a key role in supporting the Americas Legal team across a broad range of corporate, governance, transactional, and litigation-related activities. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented legal professional who enjoys working independently, managing complex information, and partnering with attorneys, outside counsel, and cross‑functional teams.
This is a high‑visibility role with meaningful impact on corporate governance, M&A activity, compliance, and legal operations across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
Responsibilities
Manage corporate governance activities across the Americas, including maintaining corporate records, preparing resolutions, and supporting internal mergers and recapitalization projects.
Oversee Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting and handle state registrations for all group companies.
Support mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and corporate reorganizations in the U.S., including document preparation and transaction coordination.
Assist with employment and litigation matters in the U.S. and Canada, including prelitigation support, litigation management, and maintaining litigation hold records.
Manage service of process communications, legal mail, and litigation reporting.
Collaborate with Senior Counsel, outside counsel, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate execution of legal tasks.
More about you
Paralegal certificate or 6+ years of equivalent experience; bachelor's degree preferred
6+ years of paralegal experience in corporate governance, transactions, or litigation support
Strong drafting, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with attorneys, outside counsel, and internal teams
Professional communication skills and sound judgment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management; experience with contract management software preferred
Conversational Spanish, French, or Portuguese a plus
A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between $71,000 - $88,000. This role is also bonus eligible.
