New England Elite Basketball is seeking a creative, driven, and sports-obsessed Social Media & Brand Strategy Intern to help build and expand one of the fastest-growing basketball brands in New England.

This is not a typical internship. This role will serve as a hands‑on Brand Strategy Manager, responsible for helping shape how New England Elite tells its story across digital platforms.

From filming live action content at practices and tournaments to developing creative campaigns that highlight our athletes and program culture, this internship offers an opportunity to play a real role in building a sports brand.

Role Overview The Social Media & Brand Strategy Intern will work closely with program leadership to plan, create, and distribute content across all New England Elite platforms, including:

Twitter/X

Website and digital media channels

Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Production

Film practices, games, tournaments, and behind‑the‑scenes program content

Capture highlight clips, player features, and program moments

Produce short‑form content optimized for social media platforms

Assist with interviews, player spotlights, and program storytelling

Video Editing & Media Production

Edit highlight videos and social media clips

Create dynamic reels, graphics, and short‑form video content

Help produce promotional videos for events, tournaments, and announcements

Brand Strategy

Assist in shaping the overall New England Elite digital brand

Develop creative campaigns that highlight players, alumni, and coaches

Help design weekly content strategies and social media calendars

Identify trends in sports media and apply them to program content

Social Media Management

Assist with posting and scheduling content

Monitor engagement and audience interaction

Help grow the New England Elite digital audience across all platforms

We are looking for someone who:

Loves basketball and sports culture

Is creative and comfortable behind a camera

Has experience with video editing software

Understands how content performs on different platforms

Is organized, motivated, and eager to learn

This internship provides real‑world experience in:

Digital brand strategy

Content creation and storytelling

Interns will have the opportunity to build a portfolio of real content published across major platforms while working within a highly visible youth sports organization.
