The Volunteer Graphic Design Assistant supports the City of Goodyear by creating engaging visual materials that help communicate city programs, events, and volunteer initiatives to the community. Volunteers in this role will assist with designing graphics for digital and print materials such as flyers, social media graphics, presentations, and event promotions. Organize and maintain digital design files for easy access and future use.
Communicate progress and collaborate with the Volunteer Coordinator or assigned staff.
Requirements
Experience with graphic design tools in Adobe Creative Suite, such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual layout, typography, and design consistency.
Ability to follow brand guidelines and incorporate feedback into design revisions.
Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
Must complete the City of Goodyear volunteer application.
Must pass background screening.
