Sales Manager - Rental Steam - Specialty Rental - Delanco, NJ

Your role The Steam Sales Manager will drive revenue growth for our steam boiler rental business, focusing on territory development, customer acquisition, and relationship management. This role requires a technical understanding of steam systems, strong business acumen, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions for diverse industries such as manufacturing, food processing, energy, and utilities.

You will

Identify and pursue new rental opportunities within assigned territory

Expand exisiting customer base and maintain long-term relationships

Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, solution design, quoting, negotiation, and closing

Manage the Sales Team, consisting of sales engineers across the US and Canada

Conduct site visits and job assessments to recommend appropriate boiler rental solutions

Work closely with engineering and operations teams to size equipment, coordinate installation, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Prepare accurate sales forecasts, progress reports, and KPI tracking

Develop and execute an annual territoy sales plans aligned with company goals for each ASM/territory

You have a minimum 5 years experience of outside sales in industrial equipment rental or related sectors (boilers, chillers, HVAC, generators)

You will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Businesss or related technical field preferred

You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Have a strong technical aptitude in steam systems and boiler applications

Have excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Have proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently

Must have a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively within the territory

Must have a clean driving record for the past 36 months

Job location This role is hybrid, enabling you to work within the region of Delanco,NJ, while being associated with our customer center in United States (US).
