We are hiring an SMB & Mid-Market Sales Executive to generate new client partnerships and revenue.
This is a true hunting role.
There is no inbound pipeline waiting for you. Success comes from identifying the right companies, opening conversations with decision-makers, and turning those conversations into long-term hiring partnerships.
If you enjoy opening doors, creating opportunities, and building relationships that generate revenue over time, this role offers significant financial upside.
What You’ll Do Your mission is simple: create pipeline and convert it into revenue.
You will:
Prospect SMB and mid-market technology companies through outbound calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach
Identify hiring signals across startups and scaling technology companies
Start conversations with founders, CTOs, and engineering leaders
Convert those conversations into hiring partnerships
Win new logos and build your own portfolio of client relationships
Own the full sales cycle from first outreach through close
Expand accounts as client hiring needs grow
This role is about building relationships that compound revenue over time, not closing one-off transactions.
Compensation
Base salary: $60K – $80K depending on experience
Milestone bonuses: up to $10K
Commission: tiered payouts up to 25% of revenue
Unlike many sales roles that only pay commission on first-year contract value, Verticalmove pays on the full lifetime value of the client relationship.

Requirements
4+ years of sales experience (technology staffing or recruiting preferred)
Strong outbound prospecting ability
Confidence engaging technical decision-makers and executives
Self-motivated and performance-driven mindset
Experience selling into technology companies strongly preferred
