eBay's Office of AI Transformation (OAIT) is driving eBay's reinvention on how work gets done, faster and better at enterprise scale.
We partner across the company to turn AI into a practical advantage: introducing new AI capabilities, standing up agentic powered workflows, and discovering new ways to deliver value that weren't feasible before. This is a team of builders and change leaders who want to define "how work gets done" for thousands of employees and see their work show up in everyday execution. If you want to shape how a global company evolves at the intersection of technology, people, and real execution, this is the team. As
Director of Agentic Workflow Transformation,
you will define and help build the next generation of internal platforms and workflow solutions that enable teams to collaborate with agent assistants across complex work. You will partner with business, IT, and engineering leaders to deliver a scalable, global solution that reduces friction and strengthens human accountability across functions and geographies. This is a senior, high-autonomy role that combines strategy and hands-on execution. You will run an executive operating cadence that drives prioritization and accountability across functions, ensuring we scale what works and stop what doesn't. You will set the roadmap, drive delivery through adoption, and ensure results are measurable. You will also own the enterprise AI goals and scorecard, including the workflow outcome metrics and value measurement that proves impact and keeps the company focused on the highest-return bets.
What You Will Do
Partner with teams to understand workflows, pain points, and where time is being lost, then focus effort on the highest-friction, highest-frequency work.
Identify and prioritize opportunities for automation and task-based assistants tied to measurable business impact, with clear owners, baselines, targets, and a path to scale.
Define the vision and 12-24 month roadmap for a global workflow platform that scales across functions and regions without becoming custom work for every team.
Define enterprise data requirements and integration needs across functions so workflows have the right inputs, access, and quality to run reliably end to end.
Stand up a pilot-to-scale mechanism by setting scope, building quickly, testing in real work, iterating, and scaling what proves value.
Translate business needs into clear requirements and partner tightly with internal IT and engineering teams to prioritize delivery, remove blockers, and drive adoption.
Ensure workflows operate safely and consistently with the right permissions, controls, auditability, human oversight, and insight into what happened and why.
Set the adoption approach with communications, training, enablement, and support plans so teams can incorporate these workflows into daily work.
Create lightweight playbooks, templates, and guidelines so teams can reuse what works and deliver improvements consistently.
Own enterprise goals, scorecards, and operating cadence by setting baselines and publishing updates that show what's working, what's scaling, and what needs a decision.
Track success metrics such as time saved, cycle time, throughput, quality, and adoption, and translate gains into dollars, capacity, and reduced spend.
Build responsible practices in from day one, including privacy, security, governance, and clear accountability for decisions and outcomes.
Evolve the platform and measurement approach as workplace needs change, while staying anchored on adoption and measurable business outcomes.
Partner with the AI Change Enablement Director to ensure technical roadmaps are informed by 'employee reality' and designed for high-velocity adoption.
What You Bring 10+ years delivering digital transformation that ships and sticks, including outcomes from discovery through rollout and scale in large, matrixed organizations.
Strong build-and-deliver instincts, with experience defining requirements, prioritizing roadmaps, and partnering with engineering teams to ship capabilities people actually adopt.
Analytical and financial depth, including ROI modeling, baselining, target-setting, and translating operational improvements into Finance-grade business results.
Technical fluency across workflow automation and modern AI platforms, with comfort evaluating integrations, data constraints, and build vs. buy options.
Workflow redesign experience, including mapping end-to-end work, simplifying it, defining decision rights, and establishing controls for quality and accountability.
Executive-level communication and influence, with the ability to run senior working sessions and produce updates leaders can act on.
High ownership and bias for action, with comfort operating in ambiguity and holding a high bar for measurable results.
A strong, adaptive collaboration style-direct, humble, and effective at building trust across teams.
