Position Summary
Aman at Sea is seeking a dynamic, strategic and highly experienced Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts across Asia Pacific. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the luxury travel sector, strong industry relationships, and a proven track record of leading high‑performing sales teams across diverse international markets. This leadership role is critical to driving brand growth, revenue, and market share in APAC, aligning with the company’s global luxury positioning and customer experience.
As a key ambassador of our luxury brand, Aman at Sea, the Director of Sales‑APAC is responsible for driving revenue performance and executing strategic initiatives to grow sales and market share and to achieve financial targets for APAC. This position will play a pivotal role in building the awareness of Aman at Sea in assigned territory to grow relationships, optimise key account management and ensure alignment with Aman at Sea’s broader business objectives. A strong focus on relationship‑building, results‑driven leadership and building best‑in‑class guest and client experiences will be essential to success in this role.
This role requires a strategic thinker and a high‑performing, goal‑oriented sales executive who will embody the elegance, discretion, and service ethos of our brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the APAC region in alignment with global business objectives.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities across key markets and emerging segments.
- Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to adapt strategy proactively.
- Align and collaborate with Aman Global Sales team and internal resources to achieve desired outcomes, avoid duplication and drive revenue and partner satisfaction. Work to engage and inform existing Aman partners on the opportunities with Aman at Sea, to grow sales and revenues for companies and advisors. Grow partnerships outside of the existing Aman network.
- Establish clear KPIs, sales targets and a strategy to meet those targets.
- Foster a high‑performance, customer‑focused culture.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with top travel agency partners, luxury consortia, tour operators, and wholesalers.
- Represent the brand at trade events, industry conferences, and key partner meetings.
- Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to support partner campaigns and co‑branded initiatives.
- Partner with revenue and yield teams to drive optimal pricing strategies and inventory management.
- Deliver accurate forecasting, sales reporting, and performance analytics for the region.
- Work closely with global marketing, guest experience, operations, and onboard teams to ensure regional insights are reflected in brand delivery.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for product development based on regional customer preferences.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Business, Marketing, Hotel/Hospitality Management. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of sales experience in a luxury cruise line, travel or hospitality environment from a Global or APAC perspective.
- Proven Track Record of success in leisure sales within the travel/tourism industry.
- A complete understanding of selling, forecasting and managing the APAC Travel environment.
- Highly motivated individual who can work independently.
- Flexibility to work non‑standard and extended work hours and to travel 30+ percent.

- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent networking and relationship‑building skills within the leisure travel segment in APAC at the Consortia, Key Account, GSA and Agency space.
- Exemplary verbal, written and presentation skills. Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and budget‑management skills.
- Proven ability to drive revenue and meet sales goals.
- Ability to operate in a matrix environment.
