The Senior Technical Product Manager owns delivery of Opengear\’s Unified Architecture Platform—integrating hardware and software into a cohesive platform—and is directly accountable for achieving CY2026 First Customer Shipment (FCS). This role partners closely with Engineering, Hardware, Operations, and Sales to translate platform direction into an integrated execution plan and shipped outcomes, including derivative product launches.
What You Will Do
- Own the 12–18 month integrated hardware/software roadmap execution for the Unified Architecture Platform
- Drive execution to CY2026 FCS, including scope control, milestone management, and launch readiness
- Define product requirements (PRDs), acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics
- Lead backlog prioritization with Engineering; balance feature delivery and technical debt
- Coordinate hardware/firmware/platform service milestones and dependencies across teams
- Sequence and enable derivative product launches (SKU variants, feature tiers, configurations)
- Establish and run hardware/software stage-gate governance and release readiness reviews
- Support key customer and field engagements requiring technical product depth
- Monitor post-release performance and quality; drive corrective actions
Who You Are and What You Bring
- 8+ years of product management experience in networking, infrastructure, SaaS, and/or embedded systems
- Strong technical fluency (Linux, networking protocols, firmware/software integration, APIs, distributed systems)
- Demonstrated success delivering products against fixed shipment milestones
- Experience partnering deeply with engineering and hardware teams on complex platforms
- Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and executive reporting skills
- Ability to operate independently, make trade-offs, and drive decisions in ambiguous environments

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $111,000 – $174,000. Pay ranges are determined by role, job level and primary job location. The range displayed reflects the reasonable range we anticipate paying for this position and reflects the cost of labor within several U.S. geographic markets. The specific salary offered within the range will depend on various factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant and prior experience, education, skills, and primary work location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each position. Pay ranges are typically reviewed and updated annually.
